i’ve been searching the dutch song on youtube only for making my ears get used to hear dutch words. but so far, this is the only dutch song that I like. I think Netherlandse loves to party haha, because all of their song is an upbeat song!! me on the other hand, I like ballads. so enjoy the video. Anyways I know it’s just as tough for my fans to handle my losses as it is for me, but let me point something out….I didn’t leave my mom at the age of 7 for nothing. I didn’t spend 6 hours a day practicing in the Florida sun at the age of 9 for nothing. I didn’t spend those extra hours on the back courts with my dad figuring out if I’m going to play right-handed or left-handed for nothing. I didn’t sleep in little cods for 3 years eating oatmeal out of a packet, while playing ITF’s in the middle of nowhere for nothing. And I certainly didn’t sit at the kitchen table, way past dinner, perfecting Russian essays and math equations until they met my mother’s standards, for nothing. All this has helped me build character and there’s no greater asset than being able to stand up for yourself. No matter how many losses I will have in my career, I will always know what has brought me to this point…..and that’s hard work.

een ander strand
well, currently i’m doing the internship in PT Pupuk Kaltim which located in Bontang, East Kalimantan. this internship will be done on March 19th, 2012 (hopefully I could done it sooner!).
anyway, i’d like to tell you about my quick visit to Beras Basah Beach, Bontang, East Kalimantan.
I went there on January 28th, 2012. a day less from a week since I got there. Finding a moment of pure serenity is one of the best feelings that I can think of while sea or lakeside. Usually I would find myself having to travel somewhere far and remote to find that feeling, and I promise to myself that I would visit Phi Phi Island, Phuket, Thailand someday.
For me the harder it is to get there, the more beautiful it is. In addition to that though, the fewer things to do, the higher the quality of cultural and environmental preservation. I’m sure that there is someone much smarter than I who can better articulate what I attempt to, because I’m a moron when it comes to describe something!
on a brighter note, in the days when it was still secluded and fairly deserted. These days, the beach has been discovered. many people go there nowadays, eventhough there’s still lack of amenities. the only option you could go there is by going with a small boat. it costs approximately IDR 650.000 for renting the boat for 12 hours, well honestly I didn’t know the exact price for this.
firstly, we went to Bontang Kuala to fet to the wharf. it was cloudy and windy, so we were waiting for an hour before we got off. and It took 2 hours to get there by the boat, well thankfully there was no big waves, I could easily got seasick. well, i’m going to post some picts. hope you enjoy.
note: the title is written in dutch, meaning “another beach” =))
